Evan S. Mortimer

Attorney Evan S. Mortimer is a born-and-raised Idahoan. He attended all three Idaho universities, starting his undergraduate degree at Idaho State University and finishing at Boise State University (B.A., Economics, 2011). He then earned his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law (Juris Doctor, 2015). During law school, Evan served as the President of the Business Law Association and was also part of the trial team.

Shortly after graduating from law school, he dedicated his legal career to representing injured people in the fight against insurance companies. For more than a decade, Evan worked at two of Idaho’s largest, best-known personal injury firms. Before starting Mortimer Injury Law, he was a shareholder and the litigation manager at Idaho’s largest personal injury firm by volume. During that time, he handled hundreds of personal injury cases at every stage of the process—pre-litigation, litigation, trial, and on appeal. He has handled and resolved a variety of injury cases, including personal injury, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, employment law, workers’ compensation, wrongful death, and products liability. He has recovered millions of dollars for his injured clients.

Evan is a longtime member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, where he currently serves as a Board Member and Co-Chair of the Government Relations Committee. He is admitted to practice in all Idaho state and federal courts.

Beyond the office

When he is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Jessica, and their family, which includes six kids, two cats, two fish, one snake (not his!), and one dog named Charlie. Like most Idahoans, he loves the outdoors and spends many of his weekends camping, fishing, and exploring Idaho’s dirt roads on his motorcycle. He also enjoys reading, traveling, bird-watching, hiking, gardening, attempting and generally completing DIY projects around the house, and tinkering in his garage.
